All citizens, permanent residents and foreigners are welcome to take a test at CovCare.

It is not necessary to make a booking. We allow walk-ins at our test centres as well. However, do note that the waiting time may differ according to the slot availability on the day itself.

You are allowed to amend or cancel your booking through a link included in the SMS text or email you received after making a successful booking. However, do note that rescheduling or cancelling of booking has to be done at least one day prior to the original booking schedule. Payment will be refunded to you within 24 hours.

Please prepare your NRIC/Passport for identity verification. If you have booked an appointment online, please show the booking summary sent to you via SMS text or email to our staff on the day of your appointment. For customers taking Pre-Departure tests, please prepare your passport and flight details as these particulars will be reflected on the notarised memo for fitness to travel.

Your booking for the PCR test depends on the requirements set by your destination country. We advise all travellers to check with their destination country's embassy on the testing window requirements. You may visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website to learn more about the testing requirements for each individual country.

Yes, our laboratory is in operation 24/7. Once we have your test sample, it will be sent to our laboratory right away for analysis. After the analysis is complete, the results will be sent to you via SMS text and email without delay. You can be rest assured to receive your results on the same day of the test.

Payment

 

For online payment methods, we accept credit/debit cards. Cash payments are only available for walk-in customers. We understand that you may not have the means to pay for a test right away, hence, we do offer Test Now Pay later and other instalment payment methods as well.

GST is already included in our stated package prices. For our home test services, there will be an additional charge of $15 for transportation and equipment preparation.

Unfortunately, government subsidies cannot be used for the payment of the PCR tests. However, we do accept payments using Test Now Pay Later and instalments if you are facing any financial constraints.

Get swabbed first then pay the full service amount next month (starting from the day you get swabbed). The E-Bill will be sent to you via SMS text and email. Please note that a late fee of $3 will be imposed in the revised E-Bill if you have not made payment by the final E-Bill due date.

No. CovCare only provides services for PCR and Serology tests. Please cancel/reschedule your booking and visit a doctor instead if you are feeling unwell. If you are sick and want to proceed with a test, please kindly inform our staff and we will carry out an isolated test for you to eliminate cross-contamination and to protect the health of all our customers.

The swabbing process (including set up) takes 10-15 minutes per person.

Since a serology test requires drawing of your blood sample, the whole process (including set up) takes around 15-30 minutes per person.

A swab test is done to test for the presence of a current infection. It is also known as the RT-PCR (Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction) swab test. The usual turnaround time for our test result is about 6 hours. Please opt for an Express Swab for test results to be out in about 3 hours after the test sample has been analysed. A serology test helps to determine past infections through blood-taking by checking the existence of COVID-19 antibodies. It is also known as the IgG/IgM (Immunoglobulins) antibody test. The usual turnaround time for our serology test result is about 8 hours.

Post-testing

 

An SMS text or email will be sent to you once the results are ready. If you still do not receive the results 30 minutes after the expected time, kindly send an email to test.results@covcare.com to request for a resend of your results. Alternatively, you may dial our centre/headquarters hotline to raise your request.

A laboratory result report will be issued digitally. If the test result is negative, an additional notarised memo for fitness to travel will be issued for Pre-Departure tests. In rare cases where results return as inconclusive, a repeat test may be conducted and is chargeable.
