China

Who can enter the country?

The Singapore-China Fast Lane for essential business and official travel between Singapore and China is between Singapore and six Chinese provinces/municipalities (Chongqing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Tianjin and Zhejiang). Singaporeans seeking to travel to China under the Fast Lane must be sponsored by either a company or a government agency in China, which will file an application on behalf of the applicant with the local province/municipal authorities. More details on the application process and requirements of the Singapore-China Fast Lane can be found here.

Quarantine Measures

As of 28 June 2022, the quarantine measures for inbound travellers to Mainland China have been reduced to 7 days of centralised quarantine, followed by 3 days of home monitoring for most cities. Before travelling, Singaporeans are strongly advised to check with the local authorities, as well as the hotel or residential compound where they will be staying, on the quarantine, COVID-19 testing, and other policies that they should adhere to when entering China.
